Full-Time Physician Assistant Needed for Internal Medicine Practice in Pearland, Texas

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 5:00 pm shift
Salary:
$140,000-$180,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and review medical records
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions and illnesses within the field of internal medicine
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules
- Provide clear explanations to patients regarding their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures
- Oversee patients' overall health and well-being
- Promote healthy practices and preventive care strategies
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in internal medicine
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in an internal medicine practice or similar setting
- Specialization or expertise in internal medicine
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care and chronic care practices
- Strong knowledge of health and patient care regulations in internal medicine
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong ethical values and commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Patience and ability to handle complex medical cases
- Willingness to continuously expand knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid Texas State Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
- Must have DEA number
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant
