Full-Time Physician Assistant Needed for Primary Care Clinic (Pediatrics)

Salary:
$140,000-$180,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and review medical records of pediatric patients
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays
- Diagnose and treat various pediatric health conditions and illnesses
- Develop age-appropriate treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules
- Provide clear explanations to parents/guardians regarding their child's health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate parents/guardians on pediatric diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures
- Oversee and monitor the overall health and development of pediatric patients
- Promote healthy lifestyle practices and preventive care for children
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in pediatric care
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a primary care clinic or pediatrics setting
- Specialization or expertise in pediatrics
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care for children
- In-depth knowledge of health and patient care regulations in pediatrics
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pediatric patients and their parents/guardians
- Strong ethical values and commitment to providing high-quality pediatric care
- Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude for collaborative work
- Patience and ability to work with children of varying ages and needs
- Willingness to continuously enhance knowledge and clinical skills in pediatrics
- Valid California State Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
- Must have DEA number
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant
