Full-time/Part-time Physician Assistants needed at Metro Health P.C. in Peoria, AZ.


We are pleased to announce a Physician Assistant opening for our thriving medical center. Physicians and staff work very closely together to integrate all aspects of general family medicine and provide the highest quality of medical services to their patients from newborns to adults.


We are a well-established, successful ten (10) provider practice in a highly desirable area. We specialize in Utilizing the EPIC EMR documentation system, and we focused on preventive care to maximize a patient's health and quality of life.


Schedule :


  • Monday- Friday
  • 8 Hours
  • On-Call Saturday

SALARY:


$100,000-$180,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits



RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and medical histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care to patients of all ages.
  • Performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing appropriate treatment plans based on patients' individual needs.
  • Administering vaccinations and medications, as well as educating patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitoring and managing chronic conditions and coordinating appropriate referrals for specialty care when necessary.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Emphasizing preventive care measures to enhance patient wellness and quality of life.
  • Providing compassionate and patient-centered care while building strong relationships with patients and their families.
  • Adhering to all ethical and legal standards in medical practice and maintaining patient confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • PA Certification and state license required
  • At least 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant
  • 1 Year as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
  • PA - Physician Assistant (Upon Hire, Required)
  • Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making.
  • Working Indoors 67% or more
  • Mechanical Hazards 1-33%
  • Electrical Hazards 1-33%
  • OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
