Full Time Physician Assistant for Family Medicine in Georgia
We are a fast-pace and growing private dermatology group located in Georgia. We are expending and are looking for a self-motivated, and experienced Physician Assistant for Family Medicine to help grow our practice. Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the field. This position is Full Time with room for growth.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Salary: $120k to $140k a year plus with full benefits.
Duties:
As a Primary Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate care
- Manage patient care, including referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices
How to Qualify:
- Valid "Given state" Physician Assistant license
- 1+ yrs experience and ability to function as a provider. Support available, but you should be able to evaluate, inject, and manage complications.
- PA-C required
- Must have DEA number
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities to include symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions
- Skill in the use of computers and related software applications
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
- Ability to counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification
- Ability to interpret and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests
