Full-Time Physician Assistant Position in Plano, TX - Internal Medicine
Join our Primary Care outpatient office in Plano, TX, as a Full-Time Physician Assistant dedicated to diagnosing and treating health conditions while promoting preventative health practices. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the highest standard of patient care.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, concluding at 5:00 pm.
Compensation:
- Annual salary of $120,000-$140,000, dependent on experience.

Job Description: As a Physician Assistant specializing in internal medicine, your responsibilities will encompass conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, and overseeing patients' health. You will serve as both a healthcare practitioner and educator, actively supporting disease prevention practices and assisting individuals in leading healthy lives. Key requirements for the role include experience in one of the following specialties: acute care, internal medicine, cardiology, family health, urgent care, or emergency medicine. Extensive clinical experience in primary care is essential. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, a positive team spirit, patience, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities are crucial aspects of this role. Dedication to advancing knowledge through research and professional discourse is highly valued.
You will collaborate with a team consisting of 5 MDs and 5 other NPs.
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and review medical records
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
- Oversee patients' overall health
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge and engage in research
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or similar setting
- Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics and positive team spirit
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid Texas State Physician Assistant license
- PA-C required
- DEA number
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
