Physician Assistant | Oncology

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Job Overview:

We seek a dedicated Physician's Assistant to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will be curious, intelligent, and resourceful, follow evidence-based medicine guidelines, and genuinely care about the patient's well-being.

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (9AM – 5PM)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments in oncology settings.
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies and imaging interpretations.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Participate in patient rounds, case conferences, and other team meetings.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Arizona.
  • Experience in oncology or a related field preferred. (2 years experience)
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
