Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours daily

Salary:
$160,000 - $200,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Offer advanced practitioner care to orthopedic patients under a specialist physician's supervision.
  • Diagnose and determine treatment plans, interpreting radiology reports and lab findings.
  • Manage patient histories, prescribe medications, and coordinate therapies, potentially assisting in surgeries.
  • Oversee patient care across various orthopedic stages, from inpatient services to outpatient follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Recent PA clinical experience in orthopedic procedures, with expertise in wound care.
  • Experience handling urgent community referrals.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a PA; dedicated fellowship considered.
  • Master’s degree or PhD from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • State Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) with national certification.
  • DEA Certificate within three months of hire.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing and billing standards.
  • Capacity to work occasional overtime, flexible hours, and fulfill physical requirements of the role.
  • Potential for background checks, drug screening, and medical evaluations.
