We’re Hiring: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - New York

Location: Jamaica, New York

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We specialize in treating orthopedic injuries, post-operative conditions, neurological impairments, sports injuries, and mobility challenges associated with aging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training
  • Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to supervising PTs
  • Document treatment sessions in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Educate patients and families on proper home exercises and safety techniques
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and positive therapy environment
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety protocols, and care quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active New York State PTA License (or eligible to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in outpatient, SNF, or inpatient rehab is a plus
  • New graduates are welcome—training and mentorship provided!
