Physician Assistant Needed!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $150,000 to $180,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9-5 pm
Position Overview:
Provides medical consultation including the performance of therapeutic procedures delegated by the supervising physician, assist with various procedures, provides patient education, treatment and follow-up, may complete daily rounds and as needed using an organized multi-disciplinary team approach to provide continuity of care throughout the care continuum. Assesses, diagnoses, plans and implements the medical care of patients in collaboration with a physician. Functions within the full scope of licensure; accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review medical records of patients
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays
- Diagnose and treat various health conditions and illnesses within the scope of family medicine
- Develop personalized treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules
- Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures
- Oversee and manage patients' overall health and well-being
- Promote healthy lifestyle practices and preventive care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in primary care through research and professional development
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a family health clinic or similar setting
- Specialization or expertise in family medicine
- Extensive clinical experience in primary care
- Strong knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction
- Ethical approach and dedication to patient-centered care
- Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude for collaborative work
- Patience and ability to handle diverse patient needs
- Willingness to continuously enhance knowledge and clinical skills
- Must have DEA number
