Job Title: Full-Time Physician Assistant – Hospital-Based Care (Arizona)

As a Physician Assistant (PA-C), you will serve as a key clinical provider in managing patient care across various departments such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, or specialty units depending on your area of expertise. Working in close partnership with attending physicians and nursing staff, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient histories, physical exams, and assessments.
- Diagnose illnesses and develop patient care plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Perform or assist in clinical procedures and minor surgeries within scope of practice.
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and case managers for coordinated care.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and health maintenance.
- Document all patient interactions using hospital-approved Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Participate in hospital rounds, clinical conferences, and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Arizona PA licensure and NCCPA certification (PA-C).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification (PALS/ATLS preferred for emergency/surgical roles).
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic knowledge preferred).
