Full-time Primary Care Physician Needed
We are looking for a full-time responsible Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to provide high-quality medical care by examining patients and treating diseases. You will also undertake tasks aiming at the prevention and promotion of healthy habits. The job is one of the most demanding, but also most rewarding professions.
A great physician is a highly qualified professional and a compassionate individual. You must be very knowledgeable in regard to diseases, epidemiology, and other medical conditions so you can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. The job can be demanding so a great deal of patience and physical endurance is required.
Salary: $260,000 to $610,000 yearly
Work Schedule:
- Full-time.
- The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with regular business hours.
- There may be occasional requirements for evening or weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs.
- Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and pain assessments to diagnose the underlying causes of patients' pain, considering physical, psychological, and social factors.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include a combination of medical, pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological approaches to pain management.
- Provide ongoing care and support to patients with chronic pain conditions, focusing on improving function, reducing pain intensity, and enhancing quality of life.
- Address acute pain resulting from injuries, surgeries, or medical procedures, using evidence-based approaches to minimize discomfort and promote healing.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate medications for pain relief, considering potential risks, benefits, and patient preferences. Monitor patients for effectiveness and side effects.
- Perform and oversee interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and minimally invasive treatments to manage pain.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications that empower them to actively participate in their pain management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) detailing patient assessments, treatments, medical histories, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or related specialty.
- Active state medical license in good standing.
- Completed residency training and fellowship in Pain Management.
- Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in pain management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills.
- Dedication to staying updated with medical advancements and best practices.
