Full-Time Pain Management Physician Assistant Needed at Northwell Pain Care Innovations.


About Us:

Northwell Pain Care Innovations is actively seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in pain management to join our esteemed team. As an integral part of our clinic, you'll be pivotal in diagnosing and treating health conditions while championing optimal health practices. Collaborate closely with physicians, apply medical expertise, and provide compassionate care to our diverse patient population.


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift Timing: 5:00 pm onwards



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and meticulously review medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays.
  • Diagnose and treat acute health conditions and illnesses effectively.
  • Formulate and execute treatment plans for chronic diseases.
  • Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Maintain precise and organized patient records and appointment schedules.
  • Educate patients and their families on diseases, preventive measures, and health protocols.
  • Ensure the holistic health and well-being of patients, advocating good health practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, research, and collaborative efforts.


Requirements:

  • Valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C).
  • DEA number is mandatory.
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Proven track record as a Physician Assistant in clinical, hospital, ER, or urgent care settings.
  • Proficiency in primary and acute care practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and patient care regulations.
  • Stellar communication skills for effective patient and healthcare professional interactions.
  • Commitment to patient-centric care with impeccable ethical values.
  • Team-oriented mindset and a positive approach to collaboration.
  • Ability to remain composed and patient in high-stress scenarios.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and clinical experience enhancement.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
