Good Samaritan Prime Care Hospital is actively seeking committed Physician Assistants with expertise in pain management to join our distinguished healthcare team. As an integral team member, you will collaborate with experienced physicians, leveraging your clinical skills to deliver compassionate care and enhance the well-being of our diverse patient community.

Schedule:

  • Days: Monday to Friday.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, beginning at 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and meticulously assess medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including bloodwork and X-rays.
  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions effectively.
  • Design personalized treatment plans tailored to chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications, monitor patient progress, and modify treatments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and oversee appointment scheduling.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Advocate for holistic patient well-being.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, research, and collaborative healthcare initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C).
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Physician Assistant in clinical, hospital, ER, or urgent care settings.
  • Proficient in primary and acute care methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable about healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and team collaboration.
  • Ability to remain composed and provide care during high-pressure situations.
  • Strong dedication to ongoing professional growth.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.
