Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician
- Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, positive behaviors, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications
- Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records
- Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, and referrals
- Serve as Medical Examiner and perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations and other occupational health exams
- Be able to work independently (under indirect supervision)
Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work at least one weekend a month
- Promote teamwork between clinical and administrative staff
- Have the ability to use judgment to determine when a supervising physician should be consulted
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered or Current Licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Licensed as an PA in the state
Salary
- $120,000 - $140,000
