Physician Assistant – Pain Management

Employment Type: Full-time Position

Salary Offer: $150,000 to $180,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide and oversee direct patient care, including conducting physical exams, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a range of pain management conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on assessed medical needs.
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of support staff involved in patient care.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as relevant to the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned related to the job.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education/ Licensure

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, with a focus on Pain Management or a related field.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license

Experience/Skills

  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in pain management or a similar specialty, including diagnosing and treating various conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prescribe medications and manage patient care effectively.
  • Familiarity with departmental policies, quality improvement practices, and infection control standards.
