Be Our Full-Time Physician Assistant (Pain Management)
Job Summary:
The Physician Assistant works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients.
Job Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY (9:00AM-5:00PM)
Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 per with full benefits
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prescribes medications according to therapeutic goals, explains treatment to patients, and families.
- Consults with physicians and other members of the health care team as necessary.
- Assesses, diagnoses, implements treatment, evaluates and monitors patients' health status.
- Performs complete physical examinations on patients.
- Diagnoses acute and chronic illness based on clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports and/or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols.
- Formulates, initiates and monitors patient management plans for patients assigned to the Physician Assistant, using guidelines and/or consultation with a supervising physician.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Licensure: Active Physician Assistant license in the state.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant field.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
