Physician Assistant | Pain Management
Employment Type: Full-time Position
Salary Offer: $150,000 to $180,000
As a Physician Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of our experienced physicians. You will have the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population, while also providing education and support to promote health maintenance and disease prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures and minor surgical interventions as appropriate, under the guidance and supervision of attending physicians.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in pain management or a similar specialty, including diagnosing and treating various conditions.
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently within scope of practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
