Full-time Pain Management Physician in Newport News, Virginia

We are seeking an exceptional Full-Time Pain Management Physician to join our Orthopedic Outpatient Practice in Virginia. We specialize in providing comprehensive care to individuals dealing with acute and chronic pain.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose the source of patients' pain
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using interventional and non-interventional approaches
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation (as applicable)
  • Work closely with physical therapists, chiropractors, and other specialists to provide holistic, multidisciplinary care
  • Prescribe and manage non-opioid and opioid medications following best practices and guidelines
  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and collaborate with insurance providers as needed

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Management
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia
  • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine preferred
  • Experience with interventional pain procedures is a plus
  • Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
