We are looking for Full Time Physician Assistant to join an Urgent Care practice to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible.

Hours are 40 hours a week Monday to Friday at 5:00 pm.

$140,000-$180,000 per year depending on experience plus Full Benefits.

Physician Assistant requirements You should have experience in one of the following Physician Assistant specialties: acute care, Internal Medicine, cardiology, urgent care, or the ED. Extensive clinical experience on urgent care is vital. As a Physician Assistant, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. SALARY:

$140,000-$180,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and medical histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care to patients of all ages.
• Performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing appropriate treatment plans based on patients' individual needs.
• Administering vaccinations and medications, as well as educating patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitoring and managing chronic conditions and coordinating appropriate referrals for specialty care when necessary.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
• Emphasizing preventive care measures to enhance patient wellness and quality of life.
• Providing compassionate and patient-centered care while building strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Adhering to all ethical and legal standards in medical practice and maintaining patient confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• PA Certification and state license required
• At least 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant
• 1 Year as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
• PA - Physician Assistant (Upon Hire, Required)
