Full-Time Physician Assistant for Urgent Care Clinic

We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care outpatient office. As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating health conditions while promoting good health practices. Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 5:00 pm shift

Salary:

$120,000-$150,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient examinations and review medical records
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays
  • Diagnose and treat various acute health conditions and illnesses
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for chronic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules
  • Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures
  • Oversee the overall health and well-being of patients
  • Promote and encourage good health practices
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited PA program
  • A state license and a passing score on the national certifying exam.
  • Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or urgent care setting
  • Expertise in primary care and acute care practices
  • Thorough knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Strong ethical values and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Team spirit and positive attitude for effective collaboration
  • Patience and cool-headedness in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to continuously learn and gain clinical experience
  • DEA number is required
