Position Overview:
We’re currently seeking a confident and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a provider who enjoys autonomous practice, values collaboration, and is looking to make a daily impact in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
As a Physician Assistant in our urgent care centers, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of non-life-threatening conditions. You'll perform minor procedures, manage acute illnesses and injuries, and work alongside a dedicated care team of physicians, nurse practitioners, radiology techs, and medical assistants.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Take detailed histories, perform physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and EKGs
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions including infections, musculoskeletal injuries, dermatologic issues, and more
- Prescribe medications in accordance with current clinical protocols and scope of practice
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up recommendations
- Document all patient interactions clearly and accurately in the EMR system
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active and unrestricted Missouri PA license (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA license (or eligible to apply)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice
- Strong procedural skills and ability to manage high-volume clinics independently
