Full-time Podiatrist Wanted for Solace Podiatry & Foot Care Center in San Jose, California

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturdays: Rotational shifts with other team members, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Salary:
$180,000 to $220,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and treat foot and ankle abnormalities and soft tissue abnormalities of the leg
- Perform in-clinic minor surgical procedures such as matrixectomies, biopsies, excision of lesions
- Provide wound care and wound debridement
- Perform injections, strapping, and casting for custom orthotics
- Prescribe orthotic and prosthetic devices
- Perform diabetic foot exams and appropriate preventive care
- Provide routine foot care services for at-risk patients
- Willing to teach medical or nursing residents
- Prescribe medication, including schedule II, III, IV, and V
- Complete patient medical charting and billing information promptly
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from a school accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
- Completion of a podiatric medicine and surgery residency fully accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
- Valid state license to practice as a Podiatrist.
- Board certification by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery is required.
- Wound care certification is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and clinical care of foot problems is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
- Proficient in performing surgical procedures related to podiatry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and empower patients.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing patient well-being and satisfaction.
