Full-time Podiatrist Wanted for Toes & Soles Foot Care & Wellness Clinic in Everett, Washington

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Podiatrist to join our esteemed healthcare organization.

As a Medical Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized foot and ankle care to our patients, promoting mobility, comfort, and overall well-being.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturdays: Rotational shifts with other team members, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Salary:

$180,000 to $220,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient's foot and ankle health, diagnose a wide range of conditions such as deformities, injuries, and infections, and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include conservative measures, orthotics, braces, medications, physical therapy, and surgical interventions when necessary.
  • When surgery is required, perform foot and ankle surgeries, including corrective procedures for bunions, hammertoes, fractures, and other conditions.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetic foot complications, peripheral artery disease, and other vascular-related issues.
  • Educate patients about preventive foot care practices, proper footwear choices, and strategies to maintain optimal foot health.
  • Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment planning.
  • Perform a gait analysis to identify abnormalities and provide interventions to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine, attending conferences, and workshops, and engaging in continuous professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care, maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding patient rights.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatry school.
  • Valid and current state license to practice podiatric medicine.
  • Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions.
  • Proficiency in surgical techniques related to foot and ankle surgeries.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
