Adelaide Foot and Ankle Center is a busy, well-established Podiatry clinic. The staff Podiatrist is a Board-Certified, US Residency and Fellowship trained Podiatric Surgeon licensed in the state. The practice enjoys a strong referral base and is a referral center for all. We are looking for a competent and professional Podiatrist to join our practice. TheAdelaide Foot and Ankle Center is a full-scope practice which focuses on diagnosing, treating and managing foot conditions, including general podiatry, wound care, surgery, sports injuries, diabetes, and pediatrics.

The practice enjoys a strong referral base and is a referral center for all. We are looking for a competent and professional Podiatrist to join our practice. TheAdelaide Foot and Ankle Center is a full-scope practice which focuses on diagnosing, treating and managing foot conditions, including general podiatry, wound care, surgery, sports injuries, diabetes, and pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate is able to treat conditions related to the foot and ankle.
- Orthopaedic and podiatric resident teaching, clinical and laboratory research opportunities available
- Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 4-6 nights per month general orthopaedic call
- Patient care in a busy foot and ankle practice with potential additional locations to be mutually determined
- 3 foot and ankle and 10 podiatric partners in Department for seamless referrals and collaboration
- APP and clinical support provided
- Has a valid state license
- Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in foot and ankle
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, or its equivalent, from a school of podiatric medicine approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Approved schools are United States schools of podiatric medicine approved by the Council on Podiatry Education of the American Podiatry Association in the year in which the degree was granted.
- Licensure and Registration: Currently hold, or will hold, a full and unrestricted license to practice Podiatry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency Training: Completed, or currently completing, residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. VA Podiatrists involved in academic training programs may be required to be board certified for faculty status. Approved residencies are: (1) Those approved by the accrediting bodies for graduate medical education, the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, in the list published for the year the residency was completed, or (2) Other residencies and training experiences, or their equivalents, which the local Professional Standards Board determines to have provided an applicant with appropriate professional training.
- English Language Proficiency. Podiatrists appointed to direct patient-care positions must be proficient in spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
