Job Title: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) - Outpatient Setting

Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 + Benefits

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our growing practice in beautiful Maine. Whether you’re a seasoned LCPC or newer to the field, we offer a collaborative and dynamic setting where you can make a meaningful impact while growing professionally.

The Role:

  • Provide Individualized Therapy: Offer individual, couples, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and more to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and other mental health challenges.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the client’s needs, and collaborate with them to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Treatment Planning & Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the most effective approach.
  • Collaborative Case Management: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including other counselors, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care and appropriate referrals.
  • Document Clinical Progress: Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations (including HIPAA compliance).
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to continue growing as a clinician.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Licensure: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maine (or eligibility to become licensed in Maine).
  • Clinical Experience: At least 2 years of experience providing outpatient counseling services (preferred but not required). Experience working with a diverse population and treating a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems is a plus.
  • Compassionate & Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain treatment options and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
