Job Title: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Location: Brunswick, Iowa

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 + Benefits

Position Summary:
The LCPC will deliver outpatient mental health counseling services to clients experiencing a range of psychological and emotional challenges. Services may be provided in-person, virtually, or through a hybrid model depending on the counselor's preferences and client needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering personal growth, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships in clients from diverse backgrounds.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Active and unrestricted LCPC license in Iowa (required)
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based practices
  • Experience with or willingness to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Cultural competence and a commitment to serving diverse populations
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct intake evaluations and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Document client progress and maintain records in compliance with state and agency guidelines
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with other behavioral health professionals, case managers, and referring providers
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, peer consultation, and team meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education and licensure requirements
