Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (Mental Health), you will work at our teen and young adult outpatient treatment center, a state-of-the-art facility that offers evidence-based and holistic treatment programs for young adults aged 18 to 30 in our PHP programming. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our clients by providing them with:

  • Group therapy: You will facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions that help our clients connect with each other, share their experiences, and learn from each other.
  • Individual therapy: You will provide personalized and empathetic counseling that helps our clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop coping strategies and action plans.
  • Treatment planning: You will collaborate with our clients to create individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific needs and preferences.
  • Progress monitoring: You will track and evaluate our clients’ progress and outcomes using various assessment tools and feedback methods.
  • You will also work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. You will communicate regularly with them, coordinate care, and consult on complex cases.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree: You have completed a master’s degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
  • Licensed Clinician: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure required
  • Experienced in Mental Health Treatment: You have worked with clients who have mental health/mood disorders in residential or outpatient settings
  • Collaborative Attitude: You are a team player who is passionate about our mission to foster positive change
  • Strong Clinical Skills: You are skilled in motivation interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and documentation
