Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Wanted at Intellect Capacity Mental Clinic.

Schedule:

  • Flexible hours
  • Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

-Conducts ongoing evaluations in order to meet the requirements of the patients under care.

-Facilitates communication between supervisors, direct care personnel, family members, guardians, and other relevant parties in order to transmit an individual's development.

-Shares a rough plan with supervisors, describing appointments, house visits, and observation sessions to track job progress.

-Organizes home visits to complete in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis needs.

-Ensures that the program strategy is carried out effectively and correctly.

-Participates as needed in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other related events.

-Monthly and quarterly progress notes are completed.

-Arrange training sessions to ensure that employees and other team members are skilled in carrying out the program plan and/or appropriately completing paperwork.

-Conduct follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to ensure that an individual's continuing needs are met.

-Maintain current records to ensure that information is easily available to interested parties.

-Assist in the achievement of development goals by acting as a link with the general public and the mental health community.

-Assist in the establishment of methods for training materials to improve individual programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC)in the state
  • Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.
  • Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
  • Proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.
