Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Wanted at Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center.

Schedule:

  • Flexible hours

Responsibilities:

- Constantly examines and responds to the changing requirements of the patients under care.

- Promotes communication among supervisors, direct care employees, family members, guardians, and key stakeholders in order to discuss individual development.

- Provides supervisors with a rough calendar of appointments, home visits, and observations to track the progress of work.

- Arranges home visits for in-home observations, chart checks, staff interviews, and data analysis as needed.

- Ensures that the program strategy is carried out effectively and correctly.

- Participates actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other required events.

- Keeps detailed records by completing monthly and quarterly progress notes.

- Organize training sessions to ensure that all employees and team members are capable of carrying out the program plan and/or documentation sheets.

- Conduct follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to ensure that people's needs are met continuously.

- Maintain current records to ensure that relevant information is easily available to interested parties.

- Act as a connection between the general public and the mental health community, assisting in the achievement of development goals.

- Contribute to the creation of techniques for refining training materials with the goal of improving individual programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC)in the state
  • Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.
  • Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
  • Proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.
