Hiring Full time Licensed Professional Counselor at Compassionate Mind Healing Center.

We are looking for a caring, talented, and committed Licensed Professional Counselor to join our dynamic team, where you will play an important part in aiding our clients in recovering and sustaining independence in their everyday lives. In this profession, you will have the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team and one-on-one with particular patients to design personalized treatment plans that help them reach their goals. The Assistant Director will guide and support you, lending their knowledge to help you make educated decisions about client care and planning.

Schedule:

  • Full Time
  • Monday to Friday
  • No Evenings or Weekends
  • Work setting is at Rehabilitation Center

Responsibilities

  • Schedule initial client sessions to explore their goals, preferences, and available choices in order to develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
  • Create specific rehabilitation plans for clients based on their educational levels, talents, physical capabilities, and future work aspirations, and alter them as needed throughout the treatment process.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other medical and mental health specialists to plan and administer rehabilitation programs that are tailored to the individual needs of each client.
  • Keep detailed case files and records for clients, including personal information, eligibility data, insurance information, services delivered, correspondence, and client communication narratives.
  • Continuously monitor and document client progress in order to assess objective attainment and identify whether changes are required for success.
  • Maintain regular interaction with clients during their involvement in job training, occupational placement programs, and other on-site activities, and resolve placement difficulties as soon as possible.
  • Collaborate with clients' family members and friends to find efficient methods to address their requirements.
  • Assess customer requirements and document reports as soon as possible.
  • As needed, provide advice and direct to relevant resources.

Qualifications:

  • Education: You have a master's degree in a related field of study such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy.
  • Licensure: You are a current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Mental Health Treatment Experience: You have a track record of working with individuals suffering from mental illnesses and mood disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborative Mindset: You are a determined team player who is passionate about achieving good change.
  • Excellent Clinical Skills: You have proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral treatment, dialectical behavioral therapy, and rigorous documentation.
