Full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Wanted at Austin Trauma Therapy Clinic.
Now hiring a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in a Family Therapist role working with adults with substance use disorders to join our dedicated treatment team in our company. As a Family Therapist, you have an opportunity to make a difference every day by helping people with substance abuse issues gain control of their lives.

Schedule:
- Flexible hours
- Full-time are available.
- 8:00AM-5:00PM
Responsibilities:
-Assesses the family therapy needs of individual clients and their families.
-Participates in clinical staffing and contributes family-centered treatment concepts in the development of service/treatment plans.
-Provides family-centered individual/group/joint counseling/therapy as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Provide milieu management as needed and other counseling duties as assigned.
-Develops and facilitates education groups on substance abuse/mental health and family dynamics.
-Responsible for clinical documentation, i.e. progress notes, patient assessments, service/treatment plans, and other forms/records as required in a timely manner.
-Interacts with other professionals, and agencies, as needed, to provide effective treatment.
-Is able to identify opportunities for program improvement, uses appropriate improvement tools and techniques to address potential quality issues within the program/facility, and actively participates in quality improvement initiatives/activities.
-Maintains all certification and/or licensing requirements and remains abreast of the latest developments in the field.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC)in the state
- Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
- Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.
- Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
- Proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.
Salary and Benefits:
- $90,000-105,000 The caseload will be based on availability and experience.
