Hiring Full time Licensed Professional Counselor at The Peaceful Mind Counseling Center.

We are looking for a caring, talented, and devoted Licensed Professional Counselor to join our dynamic team. Your job will be to help our customers regain and preserve their independence in their everyday life. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to give one-on-one care to particular patients, building tailored care plans to help them reach their goals.

Throughout your job, you will be guided and mentored by the Assistant Director, gaining assistance and mentoring to make educated decisions about client care and planning.

Responsibilities

- Meet with clients for the first time to discuss their objectives, preferences, and available alternatives, establishing the groundwork for tailored rehabilitation programmes.

- Create and maintain rehabilitation programs for clients based on their educational levels, aptitudes, physical abilities, and future work goals.

- Work together with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other medical and mental health experts, to create and implement client-specific rehabilitation programs suited to their individual needs.

- Keep detailed case files and records for each client, including personal information, eligibility, insurance information, services delivered, correspondence, and client contact narratives.

- Thoroughly monitor and document client progress, determining whether or not goals are being fulfilled and whether or not they need to be altered for success.

- Maintain frequent communication with clients while they participate in job training, occupational placement programs, and other on-site activities, swiftly resolving any placement issues that emerge.

- Collaborate closely with the client's family and friends to discover effective solutions to the client's requirements.

- Analyze customer requirements and record reports as soon as possible.

- Make recommendations and refer to appropriate resources as needed.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree: A master's degree in a related discipline, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy is required.

- Licensed Clinician: Having a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license, which is a necessary qualification.

- Mental Health Treatment Experience: Proven experience dealing with individuals with mental health or mood problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

- Collaborative Attitude: A team-oriented mentality motivated by a strong desire to support good change.

- Excellent Clinical Skills: Motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral treatment, dialectical behavioral therapy, and rigorous documentation are all required.

Compensation and Benefits:

- A competitive yearly salary of $90,000 to $105,000.
