Full-time and part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) positions are available at Family Insight Counseling Center.

Family Insight Counseling Center is looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). This full-time and part-time remote employment entails providing our clients with comprehensive, integrated, and specialized clinical treatment with the objective of improving mental health services and results. The primary objective of this function is to give therapeutic treatments suited to the requirements of our clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and somatic-based techniques. Our services are provided both in person and via Telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting initial meetings to acquire detailed customer information.

- Assessing clients' emotional and mental well-being and developing unique treatment programs based on their specific requirements.

- Interacting with clients in meaningful ways, attentively listening and asking probing questions to help them examine their thoughts and feelings.

- Using emergency care processes and protocols to prioritize clients' well-being while they are in trouble.

- As needed, assisting clients with mental exercises and organizing role-playing activities.

- Counseling and relevant direction to clients on issues that are important to them.

- Working together to provide suggestions for additional therapy or services as needed.

- Ensuring complete and confidential records are meticulously maintained.

Qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a similarly related subject is required.

- Current and unrestricted state Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

- A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, preferably in a clinical setting.

- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly encouraged.

- A thorough awareness of the legal and ethical principles that govern the profession.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the development of relationships with a diversified clientele.

- Proven ability to work successfully as part of a healthcare team.

- Knowledge of EMR software and associated technologies.
