Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Mental Health, you will work in our cutting-edge teen and young adult outpatient treatment program. Within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), we are committed to offering evidence-based and comprehensive treatment programs for young people aged 18 to 30. In this job, you will have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of our customers by providing:

Group Therapy: You will facilitate interesting and helpful group sessions for our clients, allowing them to share their experiences and learn from one another.

Individual Therapy: Your duties will include providing tailored and empathic therapy to assist our clients in exploring their ideas, feelings, and actions. This will entail building coping methods and action plans that are specific to their requirements.

Therapy Planning: Working closely with our clients, you will develop tailored and goal-oriented therapy programs that match their particular needs and preferences.

Progress Monitoring: You will be in charge of following and analyzing our customers' progress and results utilizing a range of evaluation tools and feedback techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: You hold a master's degree in a related discipline, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy.
  • Licensed Clinician: You are a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with an active license, proving your ability to provide counseling services.
  • Mental Health Treatment Experience: You have past experience dealing with clients with mental health or mood problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborative Attitude: You are a team player who is passionate about our purpose of generating good change in our community.
  • Excellent therapeutic Skills: You are skilled in a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and documentation, allowing you to deliver effective care to our clients.
