Hiring Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor-Outpatient

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will offer mental health counseling services to clients in accordance with their specific needs. You will conduct evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to ethical and professional guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of client mental health needs
  • Create individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Offer counseling and therapy services to clients in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate and thorough client records and progress notes
  • Collaborate and communicate with other healthcare and mental health providers as needed for coordinated care
  • Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines and standards at all times
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in the mental health field

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
  • Minimum of3 years of experience in mental health counseling
  • Experience with specific populations (eg., children, families, substance abuse, trauma) is a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
