FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC) WANTED

Our company is a renowned rehabilitation center dedicated to helping individuals recover and regain their independence after various health challenges. We are looking for a compassionate and licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team and provide crucial support to clients in their journey toward rehabilitation and well-being.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor working in our rehabilitation setting, you will play a vital role in assisting clients as they navigate the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery. You will provide therapeutic guidance and support to help individuals and their families cope with the challenges they face during the rehabilitation process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address the emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges that clients encounter during rehabilitation.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and establish realistic goals that align with their rehabilitation progress.
  • Advocate for clients and their families by helping them access community resources, support systems, and social services that can aid in their overall recovery and well-being.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the emotional stability and safety of clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive and integrated client care.
  • Educate clients and their families about the emotional aspects of rehabilitation, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to facilitate their adjustment to the rehabilitation process.
  • Engage in community outreach activities and networking to strengthen referral resources and build valuable community partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state/province/country where you practice.
  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical and confidential counseling practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 annually
