COMPASSIONATE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC)

We are a top private outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to adults, children, and families in our community. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best mental health care in the least restrictive environment. We provide a full range of therapeutic, psychopharmacological, clinical research, and counseling services to an outpatient population.

We aim to create a safe and supportive space for healing and growth to enhance the well-being of our clients and communities. We collaboratively work with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, sharing leadership, values, and office spaces to ensure the highest quality of care and variety of services for the clients.

Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Hold a caseload of clients; establish rapport and positive working relationships with clients while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries
  • Meet regularly with clients to review progress, stability, upcoming appointments, and discharge when appropriate
  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans with clients
  • Keep up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): unrestricted, independent, current, active
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduate
  • Must be comfortable using computers (excel spreadsheet, RMS systems, outlook, pimsy)
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
