Flexible Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs, concerns, and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.
  • Conduct couples and family therapy sessions to address relationship dynamics, communication challenges, and family conflicts.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs, setting clear objectives and interventions.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients facing immediate mental health challenges.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and resources available for support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing counseling practice, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Strong clinical experience and competence in providing counseling services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ethical and professional conduct.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
