LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC)

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our practice. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions.

Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in psychology or social work and a license from the state. Clinical experience is also a requirement.

Job Duties:

  • To provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, and conduct thorough examinations and evaluations.
  • Deliver therapeutic therapies that are supported by evidence to groups, families, couples, and individuals.
  • Utilize several, individually-tailored therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive client care.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
  • Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
