Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, empathetic, and skilled counselor to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

You will provide therapy to clients dealing with a wide variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and more. In this role, you will work in a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment while making a positive impact on the lives of clients in an outpatient setting.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

  • Provide therapeutic services to clients facing a range of challenges, including mood disorders, life transitions, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and stress management.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Develop tailored treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy to support client growth and healing.
  • Work closely with clients to build trust, create goals, and develop treatment strategies that empower them to achieve lasting changes in their lives
  • Respond to clients in crises and provide immediate support and intervention as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation under ethical guidelines, state regulations, and clinic policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals (psychiatrists, social workers, etc.) to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and provide supervision or mentorship to clinical interns or less experienced counselors, if desired.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Valid, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in providing therapy in an outpatient or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Experience with trauma, grief counseling, couples therapy, or adolescent counseling is a plus.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to create effective treatment plans, and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ethical principles, confidentiality laws, and best practices in mental health counseling.
  • Commitment to providing culturally sensitive therapy and respecting the diverse backgrounds and identities of all clients.
