Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Outpatient Mental Health Setting (Georgia)
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
About the position:
We’re looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who wants to do meaningful work in a setting that supports professional growth, personal well-being, and authentic collaboration. Whether you’re a seasoned clinician or a rising star in the field, if you bring your heart and skills, we’ll provide the support, structure, and scenery.
As an LPC in our outpatient team, you’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients facing a variety of mental health challenges. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
- Deliver individual, family, or group therapy to clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, grief, and life transitions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our secure electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and optional clinical trainings
- Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers when needed
- Engage in ongoing cultural competency, DEI practices, and ethical development
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as necessary
What You Bring:
- Active, unrestricted LPC license in the state of Georgia
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience
- Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a structured outpatient setting
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centered care
- Experience working with youth, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or neurodivergent populations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, or ASL)
- Experience with group therapy or psychoeducation programs
