Location: Winthrop, Maine

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

At Harborview Behavioral Health, we are looking for a dedicated LPC to join our team and help bring high-quality, client-centered mental health care to Maine’s vibrant coastal communities.

As an LPC at Harborview, your clinical expertise will help clients move toward healing, clarity, and resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing individual therapy to adults, adolescents, or children (based on your preference and training).
  • Offering optional couples or family counseling services.
  • Conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Coordinating with an integrated team of therapists, medical providers, and external supports when needed.
  • Participating in weekly case consultation, clinical training, and peer support groups.
  • Maintaining timely documentation in our streamlined EHR system.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Active LPC license in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain licensure within 90 days).
  • Solid experience in individual psychotherapy; training in modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, or mindfulness-based approaches is a plus.
  • Commitment to inclusive, client-centered care and cultural humility.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
