Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Location: Cumberland , Iowa
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 a year + Benefits

Position Overview

The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide outpatient mental health services to a diverse population, offering evidence-based therapy to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral health challenges. This role provides flexibility in scheduling and work environment (in-person, hybrid, or fully remote), along with administrative and clinical support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and psychosocial evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in our EHR system
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, medical professionals, and case managers as needed
  • Participate in case reviews, clinical meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Uphold ethical and legal standards as outlined by licensing boards and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted LPC license in the State of Iowa
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience post-licensure preferred
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
  • Proficiency with or willingness to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
