Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Needed at Relationship Renewal Therapy in Sacramento, CA

Job Duties:

  • To create individualized treatment plans for clients, conduct extensive examinations and initial assessments.
  • Offer individuals, couples, families, and groups therapeutic interventions based on scientific facts.
  • Use a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to address the individual needs of each client.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive client care.
  • Keep accurate clinical records in compliance with the law and ethical principles.
  • Utilize opportunities for professional development to stay current on developments in and research into mental health.

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state
  • Looking for applicants with at least two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
  • It would be ideal to specialize in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse, or trauma.
  • extensive understanding of legal requirements and ethical standards for counseling practice.
  • excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with a variety of clientele.
  • a track record of success working with a healthcare team.
  • knowledgeable about EMR systems and other pertinent applications.
