Full Time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Needed at Vibra Diagnostic and Counseling Center in Columbus, OH

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to join our practice. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in psychology or social work and a license from the state. Clinical experience is also a requirement.

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time
  • 8 am to 5 pm; Monday to Friday
  • No Evenings or Weekends

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hold a caseload of clients; establish rapport and positive working relationships with clients while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries
  • Meet regularly with clients to review progress, stability, upcoming appointments, and discharge when appropriate
  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans with clients
  • Keep up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client
  • Perform intake assessments
  • Perform individual sessions per week
  • Participate in individual supervision
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers
  • Maintain a growth mindset in all aspects of work

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, psychology, social work, or a similar field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor Counselor (LPCC): unrestricted, independent, current, active
  • Clinical experience of at least on year in a clinical outpatient setting post- graduate
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills
