Wanted: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor working in a correctional facility, your responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, providing therapeutic interventions and suicide prevention techniques, and developing treatment plans. You will also be responsible for monitoring the clinical needs, providing staff training on mental health topics, and documenting all findings in accordance with company and facility policies.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000

Job Type: Full-time, emote

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend treatment plans, conduct essential treatment services such as psychoeducational and transitional groups, and provide suicide prevention interventions and management techniques.
  • Provide crisis intervention, oversee the clinical needs of patients on caseload, and participate in treatment team multidisciplinary meetings and administrative meetings.
  • Complete documentation in compliance with clinical and state requirements
  • Provide excellent, personalized patient care aimed at addressing individual patient concerns

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling (LPCC)
  • Active license issued by the State of California (LPCC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
