Looking for a full-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for a job opportunity.
Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). As a counselor, you will provide individual and group counseling to patients, conduct patient assessments, and develop treatment plans. You will work with a diverse population, including children and individuals, providing clinical counseling and patient care. Strong knowledge of medical documentation, applied behavior analysis, coding is required.
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 with full benefits
Key Responsibilities Are:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients
- Perform patient assessments to determine their mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Provide clinical counseling and support to patients with various mental health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master's degree in counseling or any related field
- Must hold a valid and active license as an LPCC
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in therapy required.
- Experience working with children and individuals
- Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques and interventions
- Proficient in medical documentation and coding procedures
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
