Qualifications:
We are looking for a Full-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of clients. In this role, you will provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, assisting them in navigating mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Key responsibilities include facilitating therapy sessions and ensuring timely and compliant documentation. In-person therapy will play a key role in fostering therapeutic connections.
Salary:
- $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
- Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests to develop treatment plans.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote emotional well-being.
- Regularly assess clients’ progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, including risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
- Work alongside other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any changes in client status.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or Psychology, or related field.
- Must hold active California state license as LPCC.
- Must have 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
