Job Duties:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate psychotropic medications, while ensuring close monitoring and follow-up with patients.
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and therapy to patients, implementing evidence-based interventions and modalities.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, considering the biological, psychological, and social aspects of each patient's condition.
  • Participate in regular case conferences and treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Job Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice Psychiatry in the state.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders across different age groups.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively manage medication regimens.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and the treatment team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, displaying resilience and adaptability.
  • Dedication to providing patient-centered care with compassion, empathy, and respect.
