Full-time Psychologists Needed at Private Practice in Buffalo, NY
Behavioral Mental Health Center is a renowned private practice with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to clients of all ages. Our focus areas include Individual Therapy, Couples and Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma and Crisis Intervention, and Psychological Assessments. We are looking for Psychologists who will provide one-on-one counseling or therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups.
You will utilize various tools and technologies, including assessment instruments, therapeutic software, electronic health records (EHRs), and video conferencing platforms for teletherapy.
Ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of patients' information is of utmost importance in all aspects of the job.
Schedule:
Full-time schedule, consisting of 40 hours per week. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate evening or weekend appointments based on client needs and preferences.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, including clinical interviews and psychological testing, to develop a thorough understanding of clients' concerns and treatment needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment results and clients' goals, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Provide ongoing counseling and therapy sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic approaches tailored to meet their unique needs and preferences.

Monitor clients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs) and documentation of client sessions and progress.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay informed about advancements in the field and maintain licensure requirements.

Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent from clients.

Engage in outreach and community involvement activities to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking psychological help.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as a psychologist with an active and unrestricted license.
- Specialization or expertise in specific areas of psychology (e.g., child psychology, trauma therapy, couples counseling) is desirable.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to work with diverse populations.
Salary:
$120,000-160,000 per year based on qualifications, and experience.
